Makennah and Trenton Taylor and Cortney and Zachary Day are happy to announce the engagement of their parents, Dietta Dawn Taylor and Scott Alan Day.

Dietta is the daughter of Leonard and Colleen Halverson of Newaygo. She is a 1994 graduate of Fremont High School, and holds a Business degree from Baker College. She is employed by Gerber Life Insurance.

Scott is the son of Doug and Karen Day of Newaygo. He is a 1987 graduate of Newaygo High School, and is the owner of Scott’s Scaping.

An August 2008 wedding is being planned.
