The families of Rebel Smith and Leslie Nelson are happy to announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.

Leslie teaches second grade at Holton Elementary School, and is the daughter of Jane and Larry Wiersema and Darrell and Denal Nelson - all of Fremont.

Rebel is a teacher at Fremont High School, FFA Advisor and Varsity Football Coach. He is the son of Randy and Neva Smith of Fremont.

An August 2 wedding is planned.
