Local students display projects at CMU research exhibit
Two Central Michigan University students from Fremont were among nearly 200 who recently unveiled their research or creative projects to the public as part of the Student Research and Creative Endeavors exhibition sponsored by the College of Education and Human Services.
Andrew Pollock, a CMU senior majoring in recreation, presented a project titled “Influences Why People Don’t Join Student Recreation Association.” A Fremont High School graduate, Pollock is the son of Christine Pollock of Fremont.
Christa Smalligan, a CMU senior majoring in English, presented a project titled “Families and Culture in Greece.” A Fremont High School graduate, Smalligan is the daughter of Larry and Joan Smalligan of Fremont.
Celebrating its fourth year in 2007, the Student Research and Creative Endeavors
event featured a record 65 projects by more than 170 students. All five College
of Education and Human Services departments were represented. More information about
