Thelma G. Sill

Thelma G. Sill, 102, of Alpena, and formerly of Hesperia, died on June 20, 2007.

She was born in Scappoose, Oregon on Sept. 6, 1904 to Fred and Edith Sederstrom. She moved to Michigan in 1914, and graduated from Fremont High School in 1923.

She is survived by four daughters, Norine Gleason Diamond of Alpena, Yvonne (Robert) Hubbard of Whitehall, Joan Holley Tomilo of Mears, and Kay (Harry) Fleming of Rural Rereat, Virginia; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grand-children; six great-greatgrandchildren; and a brother, Delbert Trimm of Hesperia.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Floyd; a sister, Ruth Barnhart Quint; brothers, Russell Sederstrom, Robert Trimm, and Earl Trimm; and her grandson, Ernest Gleason.

There will be a “Celebration of Life” service held on Aug. 11 at 4 p.m. at the Hesperia Methodist Church.
