Ronald Hills Jr.

(August. 8, 1957 - April 26, 2007)

Ronald J. Hills Jr., 49, of White Cloud, passed away on Thursday, April 26, 2007 at his home following a long illness.

Ron was born on Aug. 8, 1957 in Fremont to Ronald J. and Pauline (Ohman) Hills Sr. and graduated from Fremont High School. Ron later graduated from Ferris State University with a degree in electronics and had been a self-employed refrigeration technician for many years. Ron enjoyed fishing, camping, visiting with friends and traveling to the Upper Peninsula. He also enjoyed tinkering and fixing things.

Ron is survived by his children, Mandy Hills of Fremont, Amy Hills of Fremont, Amber Fowler of White Cloud, Zackariah Hills of Hart, and Dominique Vandenheuvel of Pohnpei Island, Micronesia; his parents, Ron and Pauline Hills Sr. of Fremont; his companion, Marilyn Bird of White Cloud; his sisters, Christine (Mike) Davis of Ludington and Jodi (Jeff) Church of Fremont; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and many special friends.

Family and friends are invited to attend a final farewell to our beloved Ronald J. Hills Jr. in Paradise (Upper Pennisula) on Thursday, Nov. 22 (Thanksgiving Day). Everyone is asked to meet at the Rainbow Lodge by 1 p.m. and then continue to the river for the celebration. Bring your fishing poles for great fishing on the Two Hearted River.
