Harry J. Blondeel, 50, of Fremont, passed away suddenly on Sunday after noon, Dec. 14, 2008 at his home.

He was born on Oct. 1, 1958 in Fremont to Robert and Audrey (VanPatten) Blondeel, Sr. He was a self employed carpenter, and he attended Resurrection Life Church in Newaygo. Harry was also a Nascar fan.

He is survived by his son, Steven Paulsen of Fremont; and his fiancé, Deb Homan of Grant and her children Cassie, Amber, and Charity, and their children Mataeo, Alyssa, and Zander. He is also survived by his sisters, Kathy (Sid) Holmes of Newaygo, Gerri (John) Slater of Holton, Cheri Kennedy of Howard City, and Penny (Brent) Frantz of Muskegon; and his sister-in-law, Deb Blondeel of Fremont.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Blondeel, Sr. on Nov. 20, 1989; by his brother, Robert Blondeel, Jr. on Feb. 8, 2000; by his mother, Audrey Blondeel on Dec. 19, 2004; and by his brother, Kenneth “Kenny B” Blondeel on Feb. 6, 2008.

A memorial gathering and luncheon will be held on Thursday, Dec. 18, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Fremont Moose Lodge #1555.
