Carissa Ann Luchies and Ely Robert Campbell were united in marriage on June 23, 2007 at Trinity Christian Reformed Church in Fremont, with Pastor Bob Pohler officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Wayne and Kim Luchies of Fremont. The groom is the son of Dan and Gail Campbell of Hesperia.

Attending the couple were family and close friends. Carla Luchies, sister of the bride, served as the Maid of Honor. Bridesmaids were Chelsea Campbell-sister of the groom, Emma Campbell-sister of the groom, Angie Grumm-friend of the bride, Kaite Christoffersen-friend of the bride, Breann Conkle-friend of the bride, and Angel Eichenberg-friend of the bride. Lily Eichenberg was the flowergirl. Best Men were Dan Hunt, Jeff Wilson, Chad Burrell, Matt Anderson, Dave Hren, Joe Conkle and Bob Eichenberg-all friends of the groom. Ushers were Cody Campbell and Jesse Campbell-brothers of the groom.

The newly weds and bridal party enjoyed a horse drawn trolley ride through Fremont before arriving at the reception at All Saints Catholic Church. The couple enjoyed their honeymoon touring the Upper Peninsula, and spent a few days on Mackinac Island.

Carissa is employed at the Newaygo County RESA as the Student Services Secretary, and Ely is an employee of Jackson Merkey Contracting in Muskegon.

The couple is making their home in Fremont, and recently celebrated their first anniversary at The Shack.
