Christine Susan Cooper and Christopher Eric Swanson were united in marriage on Saturday, May 3, 2008 at First Presbyterian Church in Plymouth. Christine wore an antique wedding dress worn first by her grandmother, Beulah Landis in 1942 and then by her mother, Gail Cooper in 1975.

The bride is the daughter of John and Gail Cooper of Fremont. The groom is the son of Roger and Doris Swanson of Canton.

Attending the couple were family and close friends. Jennifer Smifh-Margraf was the Matron of Honor. Ronald Hughes was the best man. Ushers were Gage Cooper, Bradley Cooper, Casey Swanson, and Matthew Houser.

Christine is employed by the Waterford School District as a special education teacher and Christopher is employed by DTE as an analyst.

The couple makes their home in Livonia.
