Hilary Korstange of Fremont was married to Jared Smith of Montrose on May 19, 2007. Rev. Larry Wood officiated the nuptials at Fremont Untied Methodist Church. A reception followed at All Saints Catholic Church reception hall.

Parents of the bride are John and Kathy Korstange of Fremont. Parents of the groom are Mark and Cindy Smith of Montrose. Whitney Korstange, sister of the bride, served as the Maid of Honor. Mr. Gustavo Gomez of Flushing, the groom’s cousin, served as the Best Man. Solos were performed by Ania Duncan, friend of the bride and formerly of Fremont.

A 2002 graduate of Fremont High School, the bride earned a Bachelors of Science in Economics and Management from Albion College in 2006. She now works for Federal Mogul in Southfield.

The groom is a 1999 graduate of Montrose High School and earned a Bachelors of Science in Economics and Management from Albion College in 2003. He is now a manager for Dayton Freight Line in Flint.

The couple traveled to Traverse City following the wedding and plan a larger trip to Brazil at their one year anniversary. They now reside in Brighton.
