Lina Strong Joins Fremont Area Chamber of Commerce Staff

Ron Vliem, Executive Director of the Fremont Area Chamber of Commerce, is pleased to announce the addition of Lina Strong as National Baby Food Festival (NBFF) Coordinator.

Lina has several years of experience in coordinating large events with a local non-proft organization. As well as graphic arts design experience to assist with all of the Chamber and NBFF brochure and fyer designs. She has also volunteered her time helping with the various events during the past three years at the NBFF.

“Fremont Chamber has a wonderful group of dedicated people working all year at putting on a great festival,” stated Lina, “I’m very excited to be a part of that group and I’m looking forward on working with the people in our community.”

Having grown up in Fremont, she attended Fremont Public Schools, upon graduating, she attended Computer Learning Center in Troy, MI and received a degree in Information Technology Support Professional. She has many years of customer service and technology experience and we hope to utilize these assets.

Lina lives in Fremont with her husband, Bill, and has four active boys. Bill is currently employed at Starbucks and will be opening the new store on Alpine in Grand Rapids. Mitch is 17, a Senior at Fremont High School with plans to attend MSU to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree and eventually become a Radiologist. Cam is 12 and is in 8th Grade at Fremont Middle School, Logan is 10 and is in fourth grade at Daisy Brook School and Brandon is 9 and in fourth grade at Daisy Brook School.
